When you are prompted to restart the computer, click‘Restart’.Step 2: Temporarily disable Security Software.Disclaimer for disabling or uninstalling the Antivirus and Firewall: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarilydisable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Turning off Windows Firewall might makeyour computer (and your network, if you have one) more vulnerable to damage from worms or hackers.Note: Once you performed the steps, make sure you ‘Turn on the Firewall’ and re-enable the antivirus to avoid the risk of virus infection. If the issue persists, post your reply with results and questions asked as above. Hello Imran M,I have completely the same problem with the Russian language pack. W8 was installed into a separate drive and seems it runs well. That what I have:1. Installed W Vista on the different drive (since year 2009).2.

Installed licenced W 8 (32 bit) on to the separate drive3. After the W 8 installation i have installed a few apps including apps from the Store and an old Office 2007 Pro.4. To run the suggested by W 8 program for fingerprint scan, I installed the NET Framework 3.5 using instructions posted on this site (inserted the Win 8 installation disk and ran the special command in cmd.exe under the administrator privilages). I must dothis that way because there was an error also while installing the NET Framework 3.5.5. AFTER I have the NET Framework 3.5 installed, I decided to install the Russian language pack through the Control pannel.

The wizard shows all stages of installation as 'Done!' (I mean stages of download, initialization, installation.). But finally it showsthe message: 'The Following updates were not installed'.With no code of error.I have tryed all your previous suggestions, including Troubleshooter, but nothing helps. Please tell me, if there any ways to show you any log files to determine the problem?Or maybe there are ways to install KB2607607 through the cmd.exe? (see point 4 above).

Hello everyone,I'm beginning to work on Office 2007 and Vista and to be able to spellcheck my translations e.g. In Dutch I tried to install the Proofing tools 2003 according to the routine recommended some time ago on this forum, that is:1.

I installed Office 2003 - only the proofing tools.2. I installed Proofing Tools 2003 - only chosen languages.3. I uninstalled Office 20034. I installed Office 2007 (however not as an upgrade to Office 2003 as recommended: after inserting installation CD of Office 2007 there wasn't any option 'upgrade' available). All this has the following result: Word recognises nicely that the text is in Dutch but doesn't react to any spelling mistakes.

The information 'Spelling check completed' appears on the screen and yet again there is no reaction whatsoever to some obvious mistakes.Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advanceKasia ▲. I had the Proofing Tools for Office 2003, but when I upgraded to Office 2007 (and Vista) I decided that instead of trying to figure out how to fool the system, and risking several cycles of installation-uninstallation (and repeat it if any problems show up later) I decided to buy the language packs. Each language is $24.95, and I needed only two, so it was cheaper than the multi-language pack. The multi-language pack is $199.00, it has all 37 languages. This is the page for the single language packs:And this is for the multi-language pack:▲.
