To run the suggested by W 8 program for fingerprint scan, I installed the NET Framework 3.5 using instructions posted on this site (inserted the Win 8 installation disk and ran the special command in cmd.exe under the administrator privilages). I must dothis that way because there was an error also while installing the NET Framework 3.5.5.
