They provide top-notch presale design and post-sale support. We've successfully deployed their VP71XD multimedia HD video player coupled with interactive features on several projects. We've also had great luck with their VP90 Industrial Digital Signage Media Players recently deployed for a local car dealership. It was simple to configure and Videotel's technical support department provided all the support we needed.

They even went the extra mile to work directly with our clients to train them in areas we were deficient. That alone is worth its weight in gold! I highly recommend giving them a shot on your next project. You won't be disappointed. It is truly refreshing to work with a team of Videotel’s character. We chose Videotel products for the quality and flexibility of the equipment.

We prefer to stay on the cutting edge of interactive experiences, having automation and triggering options readily available is very important to us. Additionally support provided by Videotel has been great. When we’ve needed help with video files Videotel was on the phone with us in just a few minutes.

Do not underestimate this powerful device – this is not just a JPG player – it can play countless video formats. It is also very easy for our staff to start the player each morning – one simple touch to the outlet strip and both the Videotel and the display start right up.

We have more applications for the Videotel players coming up soon! We at Pivot Creative Solutions strive to provide unique and engaging environments for our clients. As such, there is often a need for custom and reliable video playback solutions that are interactive and can be quite technical. Whether its needing to trigger 5 video’s at once and keep them in sync, using the useful built-in scheduling feature for digital direction signage, or starting a presentation by inductive touch, we have enjoyed the partnership with the skilled team at Videotel and appreciate their technical expertise and advice. In 2009 Salem Hospital began installing hospital grade DVD players in our common areas and patient rooms to help the people we serve and their families find as much comfort as we could provide during difficult times.

I was meant to source these players and over the course of several years, we struggled immensely with numerous brands because of the high failure rates and poor customer service from the manufactures. While searching on the internet for a solution to an untenable problem we discovered Videotel. I asked for a rep to contact me with guarded optimism and shortly afterward Lisa Schneider from Videotel reached out to us. We worked out an arrangement to bring an HD2600 XD on campus for us to review. Our findings were that the unit was considerably higher-quality than we had seen before.

We ordered a test run for a full floor remodel. We were involved in and closely watched for failure rates, and were very pleased to find that the Videotel units had a zero failure rate during the trial period and beyond. We are now in the process of transitioning all of our existing DVD players on our campus to Videotel, and we are also putting them in all new construction projects moving forward. Thank you, Lisa and the whole Videotel team for providing a high-quality product and a competitive price. “We started using the DVD version of media player over 10 years ago. With many people opening our museum exhibits on any given day, knowing that the DVD player would always turn on and play was very helpful. We have recently upgraded to the VP71XD industrial digital media player and it was ready out of the package.

We also added the harness with pushbuttons and the directions to the program were very simple. From researching to ordering, to purchasing, the company is knowledgeable and great to deal with. 'We use the Videotel Digital VP70 LTE Commercial Grade Seamless Auto Looping Digital Media Player at one of our establishments located at the Northwood Golf course in Monte Rio California, Northwood Restaurant (Bistro) on a monitor that runs 24/7 with our latest menus and news which we call 'Northwood News'.

We include holiday greetings year around and 'Specials' as well as various videos on areas of interest in the place we live such as the coast, wildlife, and vineyards, redwood forests, etc. We selected this player because of its commercial-grade robustness and the fact we frequently have power outages and the Videotel player responds like a champion, we are quite pleased with the performance of this player!' 'Videotel's team from the purchase, to set up, to the implementation of the VP90 platform was professional and effective creating a seamless and positive experience. We were able to immediately, out of the box, give our high-rise commercial building lobby a face-lift by replacing an antiquated and expensive to update lobby directory with a cost-effective, professional, and modern digital directory. Great product and wonderful people to work with, a real breath of fresh air and highly recommended.' We use Videotel units in many of our exhibits to loop video and image files. Team beep test software cracked windows 10.

We currently have several VP70, VP71, HD2600XD, HD2700M units in our displays and even an original DVD unit that has been working for the past eleven years with daily use. The auto-looping on start-up feature is especially valued by our maintenance staff who have to open the museum galleries in the mornings. They know they can turn the power on to the exhibits and not have to “fuss” with the equipment. The reliability and ease of use are strong points to consider when looking for digital video display options.

Also, over the years when we have had occasional issues, your technical staff has been very responsive and helpful in finding solutions to our concerns. I recommend Videotel products to my colleagues in the museum field with confidence. In the past (5) years, our company TTC INC/The Travelers Channel has purchased about 100 DVD Videotel units. The company operates a 24 hour visitors channel called The Travelers Channel in hotels, the Videotel DVD player has been the answer to our prayers. The DVD player runs 24 hours a day, like a fine Swiss watch.

And if there is a power outage, the unit comes right back on without a manual reset. The Videotel DVD player also plays all formats of DVD discs without any problems. I highly recommend these units to any one.

We have DVD players scattered throughout a massive property in retail and promotional areas. In the past, after a power interruption, a technician would have to physically walk to each location and power the units on. The units are not located in the most ideal locations. The life expectancy was only several months. We purchased our first Videotel DVD player several years ago and have not touched it again. I have since replaced all the units with Videotel players. The new V2200 is more compact and easier to place in tight areas.

It has one simple job – PLAY, REPEAT. It is a great product at an affordable price!

There is a 'possible', see 'But' below, Ubuntu solution, at least for playback, maybe re-encodin thru mencoder. However it may depend on what release of Ubuntu & will require installing quite a number of i386 packages so I'd look to Windows as mentioned.Anyway I had a new 14.04 install so decided to see if mplayer:i386 would install. Took a couple of min.Apt can't resolve all the deps directly so had to help it out to start, then it did install the 32 bit bit mplayer.

After adding w32codecs it plays a sample vp7 file fine as far as video. So on that thought adding mencoder:i386 may work, ect.(then if re-encoding was successful I'd remove 4 i386 packages & autoremove the rest.screen shows - if inclined I'll lay out, BUT -If you look below you'll notice no audio 'Cannot find codec for audio format 0x500.' , I forget if we ever figured that out, though it's possible your files use something different for audio. $ mplayer '/home/doug/Videos/starsky-700.vp7'MPlayer 1.1-4.8 (C) 2000-2012 MPlayer Teammplayer: could not connect to socketmplayer: No such file or directoryFailed to open LIRC support. Im not really savy on the codecs/media.Its an.avi file, the audio plays in both linux/windows, the video does not for linux.

Vp70

Im not even sure on how to determine the audio type of the avi file. The only reason i assumed the video type was VP70 was that the text file that came with the media said that he encoded it with this to save space. And he gave a windows solution only, the K Lite Codec pack solution. But because im not really good at this, i could bypass a google soution to re-encode (via windows or linux) to fix it, without even knowing that i am looking at the answer. I am looking for the simplest solution. My media player is running ubuntu 12.04 (soon to be 14.04), so i need the end result to play on linux. But since i have a windows desktop as well, i dont have to re-encode it with linux. If it is easier and more effective to re-encode it to something else in wodinws, then i can do that as well.

My question then is: Would it be easier? What would I use in windows to re-encode it?

What would i re-encode the video part as?The sample that is with it is. I would look for a windows means to re-encode(using mplayer:i386/mencoder:i386 on an Ubuntu install that allows would probably work as your audio is ac-3 but I did that as more of a curiosity than practical solution. You can't have both i386 & amd64 versions of some libraires at the same time, libavcodec for example, so you'd lose anything depending on those amd64 libsYour sample is corrupted or something for first couple of seconds, then is ok. Maybe this weekend I'll see if I can re-encode on windows but again I think you could search out a windows solution/method.
